Imran Khan's party Tehreek-e-Insaf-PTI showed a big surprise in Pakistan elections after various dramas surrounding the election results. Imran Khan-backed independents are already out of touch in the private results of seats available till 1 pm on Saturday (February 10). News from Pakistani media Geo News.

Meanwhile, 40 hours have passed since the end of polling in Pakistan, but the results of all constituencies have not been declared yet. The results of 249 constituencies have been announced privately. Only 16 seats are left. But according to the results obtained so far, the anchor in the port of victory belongs to the independents. However, Imran's supporters are not able to form a government easily even if they are ahead.

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) have reached a consensus to form a coalition government in Pakistan despite being behind in the polls. In a report on Saturday (February 10), the Pakistani news media Dawn News reported this information.

According to the poll data, Geo News says that according to the latest private results of 249 seats, independent candidates have won in 99 seats. Out of which, except for a few, the rest are followers of the country's former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan.

According to the latest election updates, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has won 71 seats. Pakistan People's Party (PPP), which came third, won 53 seats. Besides, Muttahida Qaumi Movement won 17 seats, Istegam Pakistan Party 2 seats, Pakistan Mashi League 3 seats and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam 2 seats. In addition, Majlis Wahdat e Muslimeen and Pakistan Muslim League won one seat each.

Results of 16 general seats are still pending. Second-placed Nawaz (PML-N) has won 71 seats. But even if his party wins all the remaining 16 seats, it will not be able to touch the independents. Because independent candidates in the first position are ahead in 28 seats. However, it is also possible that PML-N will not win all the remaining 16 seats.

Before this, the country's National Assembly elections were held in 266 seats last Thursday (February 8). There are a total of 336 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Out of 266 seats, rest are reserved for women and other religions.

173 seats are required to form the government alone. In that case, about 150 seats have to be won out of the elected seats. Therefore, no party can come to power with a single majority in this country's elections.

Meanwhile, the country's interim government has blamed the shutdown of mobile phone services for the delay in declaring results. In this situation, PTI has raised allegations of rigging in the election results. Party spokesperson Rauf Hasan termed the delay in announcing the results as unprecedented.

After polling on Thursday, PTI said it was ahead in 150 seats. However, the results show that even if they are ahead, it is not enough to get a single majority.

Although the party showed quite a surprise in the polls. Earlier, analysts were saying that PTI may be in full swing. And PML-N can easily come to power. But at the end of the vote, it was the opposite. Even though it was a tight fight, the independents supported by PTI were ahead by a large margin.

A coalition government will be formed if no party gets a single majority. In this case PTI can form alliance with others. Again PML-N, PPP and other parties can form alliance and come to power.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gahar Ali Khan expressed optimism that they will get more than 150 seats. They said that they will not join forces with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif or Bilawal Bhutto's party. He also said that we are not in touch with PML-N and PPP.

Incidentally, Imran Khan's party could not directly participate in this election. Supporters of the party contested elections as independent candidates. Imran Khan is also in jail after being sentenced to prison. So he could not stand for the vote. However, he voted from jail.
