Munshiganj, Aug 22 (V7N) – A high-speed motorcycle accident on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway claimed the lives of three young men and left another critically injured on Thursday late night.
 
The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. near the entrance of Modern Green City in the Nimtola area of Sirajdikhan upazila, under Munshiganj district.
 
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abu Nayeem Siddique of Hasara Highway Police Station, four individuals were riding an unregistered Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle toward Dhaka when the driver lost control due to rain-slicked conditions. The vehicle skidded onto the service lane, where it was struck by an oncoming private car traveling toward Mawa.
 
Two of the riders, identified as Awlad Hossain (23) and Habil Mia (22), died on the spot. Locals rushed the other two—Kayyum (22) and Emon (20)—to Nimtola Ideal Clinic, where Kayyum was pronounced dead by attending doctors.
 
All four victims were residents of Khilpara village in Sirajdikhan. The identity of the car and its driver remain unknown, as the vehicle reportedly fled the scene.
 
OC Siddique confirmed the fatal incident and said that legal procedures are currently underway to trace the vehicle and investigate further.
