Depending on the sighting of the moon, the month of Ramadan will start on March 12 or 13. However, the Islamic Foundation has published the Sehri and Iftar schedule of Dhaka on March 12, the beginning of Ramadan

On February 5, the Islamic Foundation finalized the Sehri and Iftar schedule for the month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri i.e. 2024. This schedule was published by the Islamic Foundation yesterday, Monday (February 12).

According to the Islamic Foundation, the first Ramadan depends on moon sighting. On March 12, the last time of Sehri in Dhaka on the first Ramadan is 4:51 am and Iftar time is 6:10 am. However, according to the distance, people from different parts of the country will have Sehri and Iftar by adding up to 9 minutes and subtracting up to 9 minutes from Dhaka time.
