Khulna, Nov 14 (V7N) - The 43rd Annual Commanders' Conference of the Army Service Corps (ASC) 2024 took place on Thursday at the ASC Center and School in Jahanabad Cantonment, Khulna. Chief of Army Staff, General Waker-uz-Zaman, OSP, SGP, PSC, attended the event as the chief guest.
Upon arrival, General Waker-uz-Zaman was greeted by senior ASC officers. In his address, he engaged with commanders and officers of the ASC Corps, covering topics such as technological advancements, research, professional skill enhancement, and future strategies. The Army Chief also honored the ASC martyrs of the Liberation War, as well as all courageous freedom fighters.
Highlighting the ASC Corps' proud heritage, General Waker-uz-Zaman commended its service to the nation and lauded its contributions on international fronts. He encouraged ASC Corps members to remain prepared for modern challenges, emphasizing the importance of advanced and relevant training.
The conference was attended by senior officials from Army Headquarters, representatives from the Army Training and Doctrine Command, commanders of all ASC units in the Bangladesh Army, and members of the media.
