Dec 08, (V7N) - Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure justice and support the government's initiatives during his address at the closing session of the Advanced Technology Solution (ATS) Expo-2024, organized by Walton and held at the Bashundhara International Convention Center in Dhaka.

Highlighting the priorities of the interim government established after the August 5 uprising, he outlined the dual objectives of reforms and preparing for the upcoming elections. Bashir applauded Walton's effective use of government policy support to maintain product diversity and contribute to industrial innovation.

As Bangladesh moves toward its graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status in 2026, the Commerce Adviser stressed the importance of minimizing national expenditures and increasing savings of foreign currency to meet graduation goals. He called for concerted efforts to expand the country's presence in global markets through innovation and by leveraging advanced technology.

Commerce Secretary Md. Selim Uddin, Walton Hi-Tech Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam, and Director SM Nurul Alam Rezvi were also present at the event, along with other distinguished guests.
