Dhaka, Feb 27(V7N) – Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) Additional Commissioner Rezaul Karim Mallick has issued a firm warning that no terrorist, regardless of their power or influence, will be spared.

His statement came on Wednesday night (February 26) following joint force patrols and inspections of security checkpoints in key areas of the capital.

Increased Security Measures in Dhaka

Commissioner Mallick emphasized that law enforcement agencies have taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety of Dhaka's residents. He also called on citizens to cooperate with authorities in maintaining law and order.

From Thursday morning, joint forces comprising the army, RAB, police, and BGB have launched operations in several areas, including Uttara, Abdullahpur, and Kamalapur. These efforts aim to combat criminal activities such as robbery and strengthen security across the city.

City on High Alert

The intensified security operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain peace and curb crime, as Dhaka remains on high alert amid recent law-and-order concerns.
