Dhaka, Apr 14 (V7N) — Speaking at the Pahela Boishakh celebrations at Ramna Batamul, Shafiqul Alam, the Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor, declared that much of the evil in the country has already been removed and that efforts are underway to root out what remains.

“The evil has already been removed from the country. We are trying to build a new Bangladesh. Whatever evil remains will also be removed,” he said during the vibrant New Year festivities on Monday (April 14).

Referring to the New Year as a symbol of new hope and national rejuvenation, Shafiqul Alam remarked, “The New Year festival has become a gathering in the new Bangladesh.” He also expressed his optimism about the future, wishing for continued peace and progress.

Highlighting the government’s ongoing work, the Press Secretary emphasized the nation's focus on continuous development and positive transformation, stating that Bangladesh is steadily moving toward a better and more equitable future.
