DHAKA, May 20, (V7N) – A high-level meeting on the national law and order situation was held today at the State Guest House Jamuna, chaired by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Attendees included Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain, and National Security Adviser Dr. Khalilur Rahman.
Also present were Chief of the Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Navy Chief Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, Air Force Chief Air Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, and other senior officials.
The meeting conducted a thorough review of the law and order situation across the country. Senior security officials presented detailed reports on the prevailing conditions, as confirmed by Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder.
Chief Adviser Professor Yunus underscored the critical need to maintain a stable security situation in the capital and nationwide. He also commended the security forces for their efforts in addressing several recent high-profile incidents.
