Dhaka, Oct 15 (V7N) — Chief Advisor to the Interim Government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has returned home after completing a two-day official visit to Rome, Italy.

A Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Dr. Yunus landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8:20 am on Wednesday (October 15).

Earlier, Dr. Yunus departed from Rome’s Fiumicino Airport at 7:20 pm local time on Tuesday. During his visit, he attended the annual World Food Forum, organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where he held several bilateral meetings, including one with FAO Director-General Dr. Qu Dongyu.

The visit focused on strengthening cooperation in deep-sea fishing, agricultural technology, and food preservation initiatives.
