Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud stated that the new government is not under any pressure because nations from the east and west have expressed interest in cooperating with Dhaka.

"Different nations have distinct narratives and points of view... In the end, we will collaborate with them all because we appreciate them," he declared on Sunday, January 14, when he took office as foreign minister in Dhaka.

The foreign minister continued, "I will lay emphasis on economic diplomacy as my major focus,"

Foreign Minister Hasan declared that he would uphold the principles established by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation: kindness to everyone, enmity towards none.

He claimed that by fortifying ties with both the east and the west, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's administration had advanced the nation.

In response to a question, Hasan stated that preserving relationships with everyone will be extremely difficult given how divided the globe has become.

The ambassadors of the US, UK, and other nations have welcomed the new government and shown their willingness to cooperate with it, he said, adding that the election on January 7 was free and fair.

In addition, he promised to work on growing his company's operations in Africa and South America.
