As of the latest update from the Hajj management portal, a total of 34,741 pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. This information was reported in the most recent bulletin from the portal.

Tragically, three Bangladeshi nationals have died during the pilgrimage so far. The latest casualty was Lutfur Rahman, a 65-year-old man, who passed away in Makkah on Tuesday. His passport number is 12969408.

The breakdown of the pilgrims shows that 3,747 traveled under government management while 30,994 were managed privately. These pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia on 87 flights originating from Bangladesh. Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated 39 of these flights, Saudi Airlines operated 28, and Flynn Airlines operated 20.

The Hajj season officially commenced on May 9 with the departure of the first dedicated flight by Bangladesh Airlines, carrying 415 pilgrims. This marked the beginning of this year's Hajj journey, which will conclude on June 10.

The holy Hajj is scheduled to take place on June 15 or 16, depending on the sighting of the moon. The return flights for pilgrims will start on June 20 and are expected to end on July 22.
