Indian Union Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi. The two leaders discussed enhancing the already strong bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India. Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud briefed the media, noting that both sides expressed a desire to further deepen their ties. Jaishankar congratulated Hasina and accepted her invitation to visit Bangladesh in the future.
