Dhaka, Aug 26 (V7N): Former Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has been detained from his residence in Uttara, Dhaka, today. Inu, who leads a faction of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, was arrested by authorities, according to a deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. He is currently being transported to the Detective Branch office of the DMP for further investigation. The specific details of the charges against him have not yet been confirmed.
