Dhaka, Aug 29 (V7N): Syeda Rizwana Hasan, adviser for the environment ministry in the interim government, has announced that the government will reduce Hajj package costs for Bangladeshi pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia.

The decision was made during an advisory council meeting on Thursday, presided over by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna.

Following the meeting, Rizwana addressed the media outside Jamuna, outlining the key decisions made.

“We have recognized that Hajj package prices in Bangladesh are excessively high, and steps will be taken to lower these costs,” Rizwana stated.
