Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N) - India has refuted claims made by some media outlets regarding a visa ban on six Bangladeshi student leaders, labeling the reports as "fake news."

A spokesperson from India’s Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that these allegations are baseless. Additionally, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka has clarified that no such visa ban decision has been made.

Recent media reports had suggested that India imposed the visa ban due to accusations that the student leaders were involved in "inciting anti-India mobs" and participating in activities harmful to India's national interests.
