The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) in Rajshahi organized a workshop titled "Criminal Cases Involving Land-Related Crimes: Document Identification and Investigation Techniques" on Sunday. The workshop was conducted by Superintendent of Police Monirul Islam, recently promoted to Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG), PBI Rajshahi District.

The chief guest and keynote speaker at the workshop was Senior District and Sessions Judge Sheikh Mofizur Rahman. The event also featured discussions led by Joint District and Sessions Judge Afaz Uddin, Senior Judicial Magistrate Mahabub Alam, and Advocate Mostafizur Rahman Russel.

The workshop's main presentation was delivered by Senior Assistant Judge Sefatullah. In his presentation, Judge Sefatullah provided an in-depth and explanatory insight into the legal complexities faced by investigating officers in land-related criminal cases. He discussed various aspects of identifying documents and employing effective investigation strategies in such cases.

Senior District and Sessions Judge Sheikh Mofizur Rahman gave a comprehensive and informative discussion on the necessary actions and procedures for handling land-related crimes in criminal cases. Senior Judicial Magistrate Mahabub Alam also highlighted key issues surrounding land-related crimes within the criminal justice system.

The workshop aimed to enhance the expertise and knowledge of PBI Rajshahi's investigating officers. Authorities believe that the guidance provided will significantly enrich the investigators' experience and improve the quality of PBI's investigations into land-related offenses.

The event saw active participation from several investigating officers of PBI Rajshahi District. Speakers and presenters expressed their gratitude to PBI Chief Additional IGP Banaj Kumar Majumder, BPM (Bar), PPM, and Unit In-Charge of PBI Rajshahi Monirul Islam for organizing such a crucial workshop. They emphasized that continued workshops of this nature will play a vital role in handling land-related cases effectively.
