Netrakona, Oct 23 (V7N) – An awareness campaign was held on Wednesday at Moktal Hossain High School in Challisha Union of Netrakona Sadar Upazila to mark Cyber Security Awareness Month 2024. The event aimed to educate teachers and students on critical cyber security issues in today's digital age.

Information technology expert and senior journalist Asaduzzaman Talukder led the session, addressing the audience on behalf of the National Committee on Cyber Security and the Cyber Incident Coordination and Response Framework (CICAF). He highlighted the importance of safeguarding personal information online, the growing threats of cyberbullying, and safe practices for online transactions.

Also present at the event were acting headmaster Md. Azharul Islam, journalist Monayem Khan, and assistant teachers Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain and Md. Abbas Uddin Talukder.

During his speech, Asaduzzaman Talukder emphasized the various public awareness activities being conducted as part of Cyber Security Awareness Month and discussed the current state of cyber security. Following his presentation, he engaged with the students and teachers, answering their questions on how to stay secure in the ever-evolving cyber landscape.

This campaign is part of a nationwide effort to increase public understanding of cyber threats and promote responsible online behavior, particularly among the youth.
