Netrokona, Jan 11, (V7N) - Women entrepreneurs in Netrokona are working on various business ideas, ranging from small to large-scale ventures. They aim to enhance their economic stability by pursuing diverse businesses according to their needs and the demands of the market.

Many women are presenting their homemade products in new ways. Their common goal is to execute their work with excellence and make their ideas a reality.

Among these trailblazing entrepreneurs is Aparna Sarkar, owner of A.M. Ladies Tailors and Training Center. She believes that when someone creates something with care, the passion and emotion tied to the product exceed that of any other. When customers appreciate and demand these products, it significantly increases the creator’s motivation and drive to keep improving.

Aparna Sarkar has not only become self-reliant but has also trained over 300 women in sewing, helping them become entrepreneurs themselves. What began as a venture with a single sewing machine has now blossomed into a thriving enterprise, contributing to her family's prosperity.

Tahmida Islam, the owner of Swopnobunon Sewing Training Center, started with an old sewing machine. After many challenges, she has succeeded in becoming self-sufficient while training thousands of women to achieve the same. Currently, 130 women work at her center, many of whom are now successful entrepreneurs themselves.

Talking to other energetic women entrepreneurs in Netrokona, it was revealed that if banks provide medium-sized loans without requiring guarantees but instead using trade lines, it would greatly empower women entrepreneurs. This would help them play an even larger role in the economic development of the region.
