Savar, Jan 29 (V7N) - Police have discovered the half-melted body of an unidentified individual from a pond located next to the TSC pump in Bypail, Ashulia, within the Savar Industrial Area. The body was retrieved on the morning of January 29, 2025.

Eyewitness Billal, who works as a bottle opener, reported that he noticed the body floating in the pond around 6:30 AM. Alarmed by the sight, he informed the security personnel at the nearby Master Plaza, who advised him to call emergency services. Following their instructions, Billal contacted 999, leading to the arrival of the Ashulia police at the scene.Upon their arrival, the police confirmed the recovery of the half-melted body of an unknown person and subsequently transported it to the police station for further investigation.

The officer-in-charge of the Ashulia police station stated that they acted promptly upon receiving the emergency call and proceeded to the location to recover the body. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing, as authorities work to identify the individual and determine the cause of death.This incident raises concerns about safety and security in the area, prompting local residents to seek answers regarding the identity of the deceased and the events leading to this tragic discovery.
