Khagrachari, Aug 30 (V7N) - The World Care Foundation has distributed relief supplies to flood-affected individuals in Khagrachari. On Friday, August 30, 2024, at noon, relief items were handed out to 140 families affected by the flood and landslides at the Gamadighala Government Primary School grounds in Khagrachari. Each affected family received food packages including rice, sugar, salt, oil, onions, and lentils.
 
The distribution was coordinated by Karunamoy Chakma, with Mohammad Selim Haider leading the effort. Local dignitaries including Hasib Haider, Waliul Islam, Jasim Uddin, Nazrul Islam, Shibly Shanti Chakma, Lais Dewan, and Nripen Chakma also participated in the event.
 
The organizers stated that the relief distribution was part of their humanitarian efforts during disasters. The World Care Foundation aims to continue supporting the people of the hilly regions during any crisis.
