Laykuzzaman, a special reporter for the Bangladeshi daily Rupali, and a senior journalist, passed suddenly on Saturday.

He passed away at 6:15 p.m. while receiving care at the nation's capital's National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD).

Rupali Bangladesh’s senior reporter SJR Sumon told to the media that Laykuzzaman had fell of chest problems during his afternoon shift at the workplace.

He was later transported to the Heart Institute by colleagues, where medical professionals pronounced him dead. His wife, two daughters, as well as a large number of friends and family, survive him.

Laykuzzaman was employed at the Kalerkantho newspaper before this.

In addition, he was employed by Shokaler Khabor and Daily Manab Zamin.
