The Bangladesh Armed Police Battalion detained 44 Rohingyas who were traveling from various camps in Ukhia-Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, to Chattogram.

Over the past 19 days, 515 Rohingyas have been placed under arrest. The camp leaders of each Rohingya group received these individuals.

APBN detained people after searching several cars on Cox's Bazar-Teknaf route on Monday.

Sala Uddin Quader, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Ukhiya 8 APBN, said that following their breaching of the barbed wire within the camp, the Rohingyas are dispersing around the nation.

As a result, more checkposts have been put in along the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf road. 44 Rohingya nationals were detained as a result of this in the morning when cars at the checkpoint near Ukhia Degree College were searched.

According to some who are concerned, the Rohingyas are attempting to flee because of the unpredictability of their return because of the ongoing turmoil in Myanmar.
