46 Rohingyas were taken into custody by the Armed Police Battalion (APBN) during a special operation in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar.

They were sent to the CIC of the Kutupalong Register Camp in Ukhia upon verification. Every day, a large number of Rohingyas escape from several camps located in Ukhia-Teknaf. By breaking through the camp's barbed wire barrier and creating a detour, Rohingyas are escaping.

They were able to apprehend them on Thursday, February 22, at around 11:00 a.m., by searching the passenger car at the checkpoint next to Ukhia College.

Sala Uddin Kader, an assistant superintendent (ASP) of police Ukhiya 8 APBN, confirmed the matter.

He said that in the afternoon, the camp administrator received the arrested Rohingyas.
