Dhaka, Nov 14 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has extended financial support to those injured during the July Revolution, who are currently receiving treatment at the National Orthopaedic Hospital (Pangu Hospital) in Dhaka. On Thursday morning, BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi visited the hospital, presenting a donation of 5 lakh taka on behalf of the party.
During the visit, BNP leaders inquired about the condition of the injured and expressed concern over the limitations in their treatment options within Bangladesh. Salahuddin Ahmed emphasized the need for specialized care abroad, demanding swift arrangements for those whose recovery is not feasible in local facilities.
Ahmed further expressed BNP’s commitment to rehabilitate all injured and bereaved families if the party assumes power. He also questioned the freedom with which “fascist forces” operate in the country, criticizing their involvement in politics.
