The Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court, led by Begum Afnan Sumi and Mehedi Hasan, issued the order on Friday afternoon. However, the accused were not physically presented in court.
Lawyers stated that Atiqul Islam had been on a five-day remand related to the Bakul Mia murder case under Uttara Purba Police Station. Meanwhile, Alep Uddin, a former Additional Superintendent of Police, and Mohiuddin Farooqui, a former RAB-2 company commander, had been on a two-day remand for their alleged involvement in a murder case filed at Jatrabari Police Station.
