Narail, Feb 16 (V7N) – BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has declared that Bangladesh is at a pivotal moment in deciding who will lead the country into the future. Speaking as the chief guest at the biennial conference of the district BNP at the Narail Government High School ground on Sunday afternoon, Rahman criticized Sheikh Hasina's 15-year rule, stating that the country has been destroyed during her tenure.

Tarique Rahman boldly stated that the Awami League government, led by Sheikh Hasina, has destroyed the country's economy, development, and electoral system. He claimed that Hasina's leadership has caused harm to every citizen of the country and that the people have been deceived in the name of elections.

Rahman emphasized that Sheikh Hasina has used autocratic methods to suppress the opposition, including filing false cases, causing disappearances, and denying the people their right to vote. He called for a change in leadership to address the destruction caused over the past 15 years.

Tarique Rahman reaffirmed that it is now the time to rebuild the country. He vowed that the BNP would work to undo the damage caused by the Awami League government, outlining a 31-point plan aimed at restoring the nation’s prosperity.

Addressing party leaders and activists, Rahman urged them to seize the moment and begin the task of reconstruction. He stressed the urgency of moving forward and not allowing the country to fall further behind.

The Narail District BNP conference was presided over by Biswas Jahangir Alam, the district president. BNP Chairperson's Advisor Amanullah Aman officially inaugurated the conference, which was attended by party members and supporters from across the district.

Tarique Rahman's comments signal a clear intent to challenge the ruling government and revitalize the BNP as a leading force in Bangladesh's political landscape.
