Dhaka, Oct 16 (V7N) — Amar Bangladesh (AB Party) has unveiled its first list of candidates for 108 seats in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, party chairman Mojibur Rahman Manju announced today at a press conference in Paltan.
Manju said the party will monitor the election-related activities of these candidates over the next month. He added that the list may be revised due to alliance considerations. “We are interested in forming alliances with all parties committed to implementing the aspirations of the people’s uprising. Currently, discussions are ongoing with the NCP, People’s Rights, and the Democracy Platform,” he said.
He also emphasized that the victory achieved through united effort must be protected, warning that the public will not tolerate arrogance ahead of the elections. During the press briefing, Manju reaffirmed the party’s support for the signing of the July Charter.
The AB Party’s announcement marks the beginning of its formal election campaign, amid ongoing national debates over party alliances and the legal basis of the July Charter.
