Following a five-day shutdown due to an arson incident that took place last Friday in Dhaka's Gopibagh area that left four people dead, the Benapole Express train will resume service on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

The train will leave Benapole for Dhaka on Thursday at 1 pm and return at 11:45 pm, according to Master Shahiduzzaman of Benapole Station, who verified the information.

On Friday night, arsonists burned the Benapole Express train near Gopibagh in Dhaka, resulting in the deaths of four persons. The Dhalarchar and Benapole Express train movements were suspended that evening by Bangladesh Railway authorities following the incident.
