Dhaka, Jan 28 (V7N) — A fire broke out at a raw market in Sector 11, Uttara, in the capital on Wednesday evening. Five units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence are currently working to bring the blaze under control.

According to Fire Service sources, the first report of the fire was received at 5:38 pm. Initially, three units were dispatched, followed by two additional units to assist in firefighting efforts.

At this time, there is no information regarding the cause of the fire or any casualties. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and are working to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.

Residents in the area are advised to avoid the vicinity until the fire is controlled.
