A member of the navy named Md. Abul Hasan has been reported missing while going down to bathe in the Muhuri river of Feni.
 
The incident took place in Shaldhar area of Chithlia Union of Parashuram Upazila of the district on Saturday (April 20).
 
According to related sources, the missing Hasan is the son of Abul Khair of Dhanikunda village of that union. He was working as a soldier in Chittagong Naval Base.
 
Parashuram police station OC Mohammad Shahadat Hossain Khan confirmed the matter and said that the local fire service and Asha diver team from Chittagong are working to rescue him. However, he was not found until 9:30 pm.
