Dhaka, Oct 05 (V7N) — Chief of Army Staff General Walker-Uz-Zaman met with President Md. Sahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Saturday morning. The President's Press Wing confirmed the visit in a statement.

During the meeting, General Walker-Uz-Zaman briefed the President on the overall activities of the army. He highlighted the army's continued efforts in supporting the civil administration across the country.

The President praised the army’s role in safeguarding the nation and ensuring the security of life and property. He expressed confidence that the army would continue to stand by the people in times of need, including during natural disasters and other emergencies.
