Dhaka, Oct 16 (V7N) — Nobel laureate and Chief Adviser of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, will engage in another round of dialogue with political parties on Saturday as part of ongoing discussions on state reforms.

The announcement was made by Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar during a press conference held at the Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday evening. He stated that several political groups, including Gano Forum, Jatiyatabadi Sammana Jot, Jatiya Party (Andalib), the 12-Party Alliance, and LDP, have been invited for the dialogue.

Responding to a question on whether the Jatiya Party (JPA) will be included, Abul Kalam said no final decision has been made yet. "This is an ongoing process, and decisions will be taken as discussions progress," he added.

Earlier, on October 5, Dr. Yunus initiated talks with BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Democracy Manch, Left Democratic Alliance, Hefazat-e-Islam, Islami Andolan Bangladesh, and the AB (Amar Bangladesh) Party to explore political and structural reforms.

This will mark the fourth round of political dialogue since the formation of the interim government. Dr. Yunus has been leading efforts for national consensus following the collapse of the Awami League government on August 5. His previous interaction with political parties took place on August 31.

The interim government hopes these dialogues will pave the way for stability and foster consensus ahead of upcoming elections.
