On Thursday, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina departed for Germany for a three-day official visit to attend the Munich Security Conference (MSC) 2024.

The prime minister and members of her entourage boarded a Biman Bangladesh Airlines aircraft (BG-207) at 11 a.m. from the capital's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The aircraft is expected to touch down in Munich, Germany's Franz Josef Strauss Airport at 17:20 (Munich time).

This is PM’s first foreign visit after assuming office for the record fifth time and fourth in a row.On the fringes of the security conference, Sheikh Hasina will also meet with the prime ministers of the Netherlands and Denmark when she is in Munich from February 16 to 18.

According to Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud, the prime minister and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are also expected to meet yesterday, at a press briefing.

The premier of Bangladesh will also be called by the Indian minister of external affairs.

According to her travel plan, Silvana Koch-Mehrin, President of Women Political Leaders (WPL), is expected to make a courtesy call on the prime minister on February 16 in the morning at the bilateral meeting room of her house.The premier of Bangladesh is scheduled to meet with Rt Hon Lord Cameron, the United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs, at noon in the same conference room.

Sheikh Hasina is welcome to attend the conference's opening and welcoming comments given by the conference chair at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof's conference hall.

The prime minister will receive a visit from Axel Van Trotsenburge, Senior Managing Director, Development Policy and Partnership, World Bank, in the conference venue's meeting room on the same day.

At Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Sheikh Hasina will also meet with the Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen. Later on, she'll be at Hotel Bayerischer Hof's Main Hall I for a panel discussion called "From Pocket to Planet: Scaling up Climate Finance".

The premier is probably going to attend Burgerhaus Garching's community celebration for Bangladeshi expatriates that takes place at night.

Sheikh Hasina and Mark Rutte, the prime minister of the Netherlands, will meet at Hotel Bayerischer Hof on February 17.

The prime minister will thereafter receive a visit from Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar at Hotel Bayerischer Hof.

The Bangladeshi premier will receive a call from Svenja Schulze, the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, at the conference venue. Olaf Scholz, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, will meet with Sheikh Hasina in the Garden Salon Conference Venue.

Later, the premier will be present at the state banquet and Ewald Von Kleist award ceremony in the Kisersaal Munich Residence.

She will go to Dhaka on February 18 at 21:10 (Munich time) on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines aircraft (BG-208) from München Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munchen, Germany.

On February 19, the prime minister is expected to arrive at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:00 a.m. (BD time).
