Dhaka, Nov 27 (V7N)- Interim government advisor Mahfuz Alam has called on the nation to abandon "stubbornness, negativity, and disruption" and instead embrace creativity and a positive mindset to build a united and resilient Bangladesh. He stated that such unity would give true meaning to the sacrifices of martyrs, including Shaheed Alif and those who perished in the July martyrdom.

Mahfuz Alam made these remarks in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday. The post followed the recent clash in Chittagong, where lawyer Saiful Islam Alif was brutally killed during a confrontation involving members of the Sanatani Jagran Jote, their spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das, law enforcement, and legal professionals.

Praising the Youth and Advocating Responsibility

In his message, Alam praised the student community for their bravery and responsibility, stating, "You have made Bangladesh proud by setting an example of responsibility and courage. Bangladesh will not be defeated in front of anyone's conspiracy again, InshaAllah."

He emphasized the importance of individual and collective strength, urging citizens to cultivate inner resilience and organize politically with compassion and responsibility. "This inner strength of ours will defeat any external enemy. We will no longer be colonizable," he declared.

Appeal to Scholars and Leaders

The advisor extended special thanks to scholars and Muslim leaders for their support of the mass uprising, encouraging them to continue ensuring the rights and dignity of all citizens regardless of religion, caste, or gender. "Your wise initiatives today and in the future will ensure your respect and participation in the Bangladesh state," he wrote.

Strong Stance Against Treachery

In a previous Facebook post on Tuesday, Alam assured the nation that the government would take decisive action against traitors and terrorists. He called for calm and urged citizens to protect the minority population, ensuring their safety while safeguarding the sovereignty of Bangladesh and the progress of the mass uprising.

Mahfuz Alam's statements underscore the interim government's focus on fostering unity, inclusivity, and resilience to address ongoing national challenges.
