Dhaka, Jan 16 (V7N)— The interim government has strongly condemned the attack on a peaceful gathering of hill community students in front of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NTCB) building in Motijheel, Dhaka. In a message from the Chief Advisor's Press Wing on Thursday, the government assured swift action against the perpetrators.

According to the statement, two individuals have already been arrested in connection with the incident. Authorities have pledged to identify and apprehend all those involved and bring them to justice. A strict investigation has been ordered to ensure accountability.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of the July Revolution, emphasising that violence, ethnic hatred, and religious fanaticism have no place in Bangladesh. The message also issued a stern warning to those attempting to disrupt the nation’s unity, peace, and law and order, asserting that no leniency would be shown.

This incident highlights the government's determination to uphold communal harmony and safeguard the rights of all communities in the country.
