Dhaka, Feb 25 (V7N) – Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has stated that the nation has been kept in confusion for too long regarding the brutal killings of army personnel at Peelkhana, emphasizing that Bangladesh, as a state, has a responsibility to ensure justice.
In his message on National Martyrs' Day, Dr. Yunus reaffirmed the government’s commitment to justice and expressed hope that the country and its people will stand in solidarity with the martyred families and the oppressed.
A Day of Remembrance and Reflection
Dr. Yunus paid deep tribute to the fallen army officers, calling them the "sun children of the nation." He prayed for their departed souls and acknowledged their unwavering commitment to the country.
"From now on, this day will serve as a symbol of consciousness and remembrance," he said. "It will remind us of the unexpected and brutal loss of a group of brave individuals who dedicated their lives to the nation."
