Dhaka, Feb 26 (V7N) – To ensure a smooth, safe, and hassle-free Hajj pilgrimage, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has directed the launch of a ‘Hajj Management Center’, offering round-the-clock services for pilgrims.

He issued this directive during a meeting of the National Committee on Hajj Management held at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday afternoon.

Ensuring a Seamless Hajj Experience

Dr. Yunus emphasized that no pilgrim should face any difficulties and instructed authorities to clearly outline the responsibilities of licensed Hajj agencies. These guidelines will be published in both booklet form and online for easy access.

“The government must ensure that agencies fulfill their responsibilities properly. If any agency fails to do so, strict action must be taken,” he stated.

Accountability of Agencies & Government

The Chief Advisor further stressed the importance of transparency in the management process:

“It must be clearly stated what responsibilities belong to the government and what duties lie with the agencies.”

By implementing these measures, the government aims to enhance the overall experience of Bangladeshi pilgrims, ensuring their journey to Mecca and Medina is well-organized, secure, and comfortable.
