Cox’s Bazar, Mar 14 (V7N) – Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Friday pledged to work collectively with the United Nations to ensure that the Rohingyas can celebrate Eid next year by returning to their homes in Myanmar's Rakhine state.
He made the comment after joining an iftar with one lakh Rohingyas at Camp 20 Extension in Ukhiya, in the presence of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The chief adviser delivered his speech in Chittagong's regional language for better communication with the Rohingyas.
