Dhaka, Mar 17 (V7N)- The Chief Advisor's Office has refuted claims that the Independence Day parade will not take place this year on March 26. A statement issued by Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder on Sunday night clarified that the parade will not be held in Dhaka due to ongoing renovation work at the National Stadium but will proceed in 63 districts across the country.

The government has decided to honor the occasion by organizing the parade with due dignity outside the capital. Additionally, brave freedom fighters will be felicitated as part of the celebrations.

The press statement also confirmed that district administrators have been instructed to take the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and dignified celebration of Independence Day in their respective regions.

This decision aims to uphold the spirit of Independence Day while accommodating the ongoing infrastructural developments in Dhaka.
