Dhaka, Mar 30, (V7N) -  Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam has extended heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the nation, emphasizing the festival’s message of peace, harmony, and brotherhood.

In his statement, Mahfuj Alam highlighted that Eid-ul-Fitr fosters compassion and unity, encouraging people to rise above hatred and violence. He stressed the importance of solidarity, urging everyone to embrace the spirit of togetherness that the festival represents.

Reflecting on recent history, the adviser paid tribute to the martyrs and wounded of the July Uprising, stating that this year’s Eid is particularly significant as the fall of fascism has brought a renewed sense of relief and hope.

He also called upon the affluent members of society to step forward in supporting underprivileged communities, ensuring that the joy of Eid reaches everyone.

Expressing his best wishes, Mahfuj Alam hoped for continued peace, prosperity, and progress for the nation and the global Muslim community.
