Dhaka, Apr 20 (V7N)- Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has extended his heartfelt thanks and congratulations to officials of the Road Transport and Bridges, Railways, and Power and Energy Ministries for ensuring a hassle-free Eid-ul-Fitr celebration across the country.
In a meeting held on Sunday at the Jamuna State Guest House in Dhaka, the Chief Advisor applauded the authorities for their efforts in maintaining traffic-free highways and minimizing power outages during the nine-day Eid holiday.
A statement from the Chief Advisor’s Press Wing quoted Yunus as saying,
“There was no traffic jam on any highway during the 9-day festival and power outages were very minimal. So far, I have heard only good things about this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr. Everyone is praising how well everything was organized.”
He added that the efficient management of Eid travel and utilities has now set a new benchmark, and emphasized the importance of maintaining this standard throughout the year.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Fauzul Kabir Khan, Advisor to the ministries involved, who led the delegation.
The praise from the Chief Advisor comes as a morale boost for government institutions often criticized for inefficiencies, marking this Eid as one of the most smoothly managed national holidays in recent years.
