Dhaka, May 03 (V7N)- Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman left for Qatar on Sunday (May 3) for a short official visit, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During his stay, he will meet high-ranking military and civilian officials of Qatar and discuss bilateral military cooperation and other areas of mutual interest.

General Waqar is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on May 5 following the conclusion of his engagements.
