Dhaka, Aug 02 (V7N) – Education Advisor Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar has emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping a talented nation, stating that now is the time to prepare the youth for nation-building through quality education and guidance.

He made the remarks while speaking at a discussion titled “July Mass Uprising and Thoughts of Education Cadre,” organized by the BCS General Education Association at Dhaka College on Saturday (August 2) morning.

“The time has come for our youth to return to the classroom — not just to study, but to be groomed as craftsmen of a better future,” said the advisor. “We are passing through a turbulent time, but with prudence and dedication, we must overcome it.”

He stressed that the government is working to elevate the education system to international standards and is committed to placing Bangladesh's education sector on the global map.

The education advisor also noted that the interim government is taking sincere steps to restore the dignity and status of teachers in society. “Teachers are at the core of national development. Their recognition and respect must reflect their contribution,” he added.
