Dhaka, Aug 27 (V7N) – The government has reconstituted a 7-member Public Administration Committee tasked with overseeing the appointment, transfer, and disciplinary matters of senior administrative officers, including divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners.

A notification issued Tuesday by order of the President confirmed the new formation.

According to the notification, Finance Advisor Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed has been appointed as the Chairman of the committee, while Environment, Forest and Climate Change Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan will serve as the Member Secretary.

Other members include:

  • Dr. Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, Advisor on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources

  • Mahfuz Alam, Advisor on Information

  • Cabinet Secretary

  • Principal Secretary to the Chief Advisor

  • Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration

The notification further stated that the committee will provide recommendations on transfers, appointments, and disciplinary issues involving officers of the rank of Joint Secretary and above. The Ministry of Public Administration will act as the secretariat of the committee.
