Dhaka, Nov 04 (V7N)- President Md. Shahabuddin is set to visit his home district Pabna on a two-day official tour starting Saturday (November 8).

The information was confirmed in an official notification signed by Abul Kalam Md. Lutfar Rahman, the President's Protocol Officer, on Monday (November 3).

According to the schedule, the President will leave Dhaka for Pabna by helicopter on Saturday morning. Upon arrival, he will be accorded a guard of honor at the district circuit house.

He will then visit the graves of his parents at Arifpur graveyard, followed by a brief stay at his residence. Later, the President will meet and spend time with his close relatives at the circuit house, where he will spend the night.

On Sunday, after receiving another guard of honor, President Shahabuddin will return to Dhaka by helicopter.

Earlier, a previous notification issued on October 29 mentioned that the President was scheduled to visit Pabna on November 6 for a four-day trip. However, the visit has now been rescheduled and shortened to two days.
