Dhaka, Nov 19 (V7N) — Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has sought the cooperation of the armed forces to ensure that the upcoming February national elections are held in a peaceful, festive, and joyful manner. He made the remarks at the graduation certificate distribution ceremony of the Command and Staff College (DSCSC) in Mirpur on Wednesday afternoon.
The Chief Advisor praised the military’s role during the July uprising, saying the armed forces had “taken the right decision at the right time,” which contributed to restoring stability. He also lauded the DSCSC’s global reputation as a leading military institution.
A total of 311 officers, including 58 from various countries, completed their graduation this year. Dr. Yunus urged the newly graduated officers to use the knowledge and experience gained from the course to contribute to the welfare of the country and the nation.
Government advisors, cabinet secretaries, and chiefs of the three services were also present at the ceremony.
