Dhaka, Dec 16 (V7N) — Bangladesh set a world record on the occasion of the Great Victory Day by conducting the largest-ever flag-carrying paratrooping display, organized by the armed forces at the parade ground adjacent to the old airport in Tejgaon on Tuesday.

A total of 54 paratroopers of ‘Team Bangladesh’ took part in the spectacular parachuting exhibition, each carrying a national flag, creating the world’s largest flag-carrying paratrooping formation and setting a new global record.

Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus witnessed the historic event.

The program also featured an impressive flypast by the Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force. Various aircraft and helicopters of the Bangladesh Air Force performed coordinated aerial maneuvers, adding grandeur to the Victory Day celebrations.

The landmark achievement highlighted the professionalism, discipline, and patriotic spirit of Bangladesh’s armed forces as the nation celebrated its hard-earned victory and sovereignty.
