Dhaka, Feb 10 (V7N) — A seven-member Turkish election observation team paid a courtesy call on Principal Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday.

The meeting was held at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday (February 10).

The observation team, comprising members of the Turkish Parliament, was led by Mehmet Akif Yilmaz, Chairperson of the Turkish-Bangladesh Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Also present at the meeting were Lamia Morshed, Principal Coordinator for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Principal Adviser’s Office, along with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting discussed issues related to the election process and the role of international observers in ensuring a transparent and credible election, sources said.
