Dhaka, Feb 23 (V7N)- Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad has stated that individuals seeking to profit in the name of Islam will not be allowed any place in society.

He made the remarks at the inauguration of the month-long Islamic Book Fair organized by the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh on Monday (February 23) afternoon at the southern courtyard of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

The minister emphasized that oppressors have no place in society and that peace cannot prevail in the world without following the commands of Allah. During the event, he officially declared the opening of the Islamic Book Fair and wished for its success.

The fair features a variety of publishers offering Islamic literature, research-based books, Quran-Hadith publications, and books suitable for children and adolescents. It will be open daily from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm for the public.
