Dhaka, Mar 04 (V7N) — Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has assigned additional responsibilities to his two political advisors, Nazrul Islam Khan and Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, giving each advisor oversight of one ministry in addition to their existing roles.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Wednesday (March 4) outlining the redistribution of responsibilities.
According to the notification:

Nazrul Islam Khan will continue as the Prime Minister’s political advisor and additionally serve as advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will retain his role as political advisor while also taking on responsibilities as advisor to the Ministry of Industries.
In addition to the advisory appointments, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has redistributed the offices of eight state ministers under the authority granted by the Rules of Business. The Cabinet Division’s notification formalizes these changes, which aim to streamline coordination between the Prime Minister’s office and various ministries.
Officials said the reshuffle is part of broader administrative adjustments intended to enhance policy implementation and improve ministerial oversight across key government sectors.
